Varco had been approached by a Client to undertake the refurbishment of two separate commercial buildings in Cardiff City Centre into a single restaurant use. The team was further instructed to prepare interior design schemes and to undertake project management services.
The project contract duration was six months, although was delayed by two weeks as a result of lead-in times for requisite bespoke materials. The restaurant was completed in autumn 2006, with the design incorporating a water feature from the ceiling of first floor flowing to ground level of the ground storey to provide an exotic, yet contemporary look. The bar was of bespoke design with a curved mirror extending from the bar to the first floor restaurant floor, all of which provided a contemporary, unique, high specification, and successful finish as per our Clients brief.
